" In my line of work I read several books a year and I can honestly say this is the best book I have read all year, including what I read personally. The characters kind of have a new millennium "Waiting to Exhale Feeling" but with more drama and suspense. I became lost in the story and I would love to see a sequel to find out what happens next. This is a must read for 2009!"

The Ultimate No No is a amazing piece of literature that will have you on the edge of your seat focusing only on what’s gonna happen next, it is a real page turner. All the Characters, from the ex's you'll hate to the hopeful next-ex’s you will be rooting for through out the whole book, have one thing in common which are the drama of Love, Lust, and friendship. In the entire book they try to figure out who in their lives fall into what category. This story is full of surprises, some so major it could change a person from a lover to a friend or enemy before it’s fully out, it’s intense. For the Characters, Troy, Nitrah, Dahlia, Jazzaray, Charmaine and the rest of the guys, these surprises mean everything and just prove what they should of known from the beginning that messing with someone's heart is The Ultimate No No.

On a scale of 1-5 I give it a 10 but if you have to stay within the scale then it's a 5

Betrayal, families torn apart, friendships tested. The Ultimate No, No has all of this to offer and more. Author

Tamika Newhouse has done an incredible job of penning a relatable, drama filled story. You’ll cry with, root for, sympathize with, and understand her characters. There’s enough drama, romance, and comedy to keep you entertained. The reader has lots of surprises in store. I give it four and a half out of five kisses.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Price of Love,
Drama, lies, and revenge...oh my! It's what fills Tamika Newhouse's recently released novel The Ultimate No No.

In an attempt to get even, Nitrah, with the help of her more than willing girlfriends, devise a plan called "The Scam." It seems harmful enough, at least for the players. The mission is to get Troy. Trap Troy. Then crush his heart. If only the best laid plans went so well.

What I appreciated about Tamika's writing is her knack for creating memorable characters that I felt were friends of my own. Each person had his or her own distinct style and issues that made him or her believable. Between the club fights, tears, and pain Tamika was able to include social issues such as prejudice in The Ultimate No No. She also purposely strayed from creating the typical book characters. To add to her credit as an author Tamika did not disappoint with the ending of her book. She kept it real by abandoning the fairytale, which I am sure will be the debate between readers everywhere.

So, when it comes to love what is The Ultimate No No? The only way to find out is to get a copy of this book!

4.0 out of 5 stars Definite "YES" to Ultimate No No,
By     L. A. Gayle

I say a definite YES to reading this book by Tamika Newhouse. You will find yourself drawn into the drama, intrigue, emotional conflicts and mysterious secrets of the characters she has created for your reading enjoyment. Once you start this book, you will resent any interruptions. The Ultimate No No is a book you need to read and recommend to others. The way the author introduces the characters in the story and tantalizes the reader with glimpses of their lives creates such an intensity that
you just want more.. creating an aura of suspense that keeps you on the edge holding your breath and wondering what else is going to happen??. I could relate to the fact that I know or have met people like this! I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the author in person on 31 Jan 09 in Newport News, VA. I'm a member of the book club called "Reading Is What We Do", and the book club sponsored a "dinner with the author"night and Tamika was there. She was an absolute delight to talk to; very personable and humble. So please go out right now and buy this book, if you don't, you'll regret it..smile!! Run, don't walk to your nearest book store and get your "reading pleasure on" with this book.

How far would you go to help a sisterfriend that’s been wronged by a man?  Would you risk your morals?  Your reputation?  Your heart?  These questions are at the heart of Newhouse’s The Ultimate No No, a book that is pretty good on many levels.  Every page is laced with drama, the drama between friends, lovers, and the lies and secrets that surround them.  Newhouse paints intriguing main characters, each with her own set of problems and desires.  The Ultimate No No is a good start for Newhouse's writing career; she has a good basis to develop her craft and become a strong storyteller with each new book she writes.  I'm looking forward to see what she comes with next.

5.0 out of 5 stars Father we know not what we do!,
The Ultimate NO NO By. Tamika Newhouse

Have you ever been hurt and wanted to get revenge for that hurt? If so then you will be able to identify with Dahlia Jones. When it comes to matters of the heart Dahlia wants Troyon Washington to pay for the pain he caused her. So she enlist her good friend Nitrah Hill to help ease the pain Troy has caused. Nitrah agrees to the scam and the emotional sparks are ignited.

However in love we experience unexpected interuptions and hidden emotions which cause volcanic eruptions. The relationships in The Ultimate No No is tested by life's issues, matters of the heart and people getting in their own way.

The host of characters are well developed and the storyline was told with grace and talent. As I closed the book I wondered about each character what they were doing and how life was treating them.
I excitedly look forward to the sequel...

5.0 out of 5 stars It's a Thin Line, Between Friends & Lovers!!!,
How far are you willing to help out a friend. This novel is riveting in Drama, Deceit, Lust, Love, Heartache & Forgiveness. Tamika's page turner takes you there. Nitrah regretfully agrees to play the matters of the heart game to help out a friend. A game that should never be played, especially when it is set for doom at the very beginning. Dahlia, convinces friends Jazzaray, Charmaine that only Nitrah can pull it off. Pretending to fall for Troy & when he falls in love you dump him. Easily said than done. This story will take you through all the emotions laughter, sadness, and even anger you. And demonstrate that some games are not to be played. Mrs. Newhouse great job. Can't wait for the sequel.
